This recognition system allows employees, at the end of a campaign, to award fun and positive qualities to one of their colleagues.
The idea is to provide employees with predefined, fun, and positive messages to send to each other. For example, one a the question might be “Who is the most creative person on your team?”, or a more fun question, “Who enjoys the most food on your team?”.
Questions
Each question has an associated trophy. For example, the trophy associated with the question “Who has the best ideas?” is “Inventive”. When a user responds to a campaign and WhoIs is displayed to them, a question is randomly drawn from the question base and asked to them. The user must then choose to whom he wants to award the trophy according to the question.
Trophies
The trophies a user has received are displayed once voting is completed. This includes the trophies received in all campaigns combined, not only those from the current campaign. If we displayed only the trophies received in the current campaign, there would be many missing. For example, if Thibaud awards the Genius Trophy to Victor and Victor has already responded to the campaign, he would not see his gift.
Trophies are defined in advance. This ensures that they are positive, and removes the burden from employees to think about a particular quality. A list of proposals is made to them, and in one click a trophy is awarded.
Colleagues
Colleagues – the people that a user is likely to know and to whom they are likely to award trophies – are found by matching users’ common attributes. Let's say a company has the following filters:
If a user is “Sales” and located in “France,” all “Sales” users and all users located in “France” will be their colleagues. This list of colleagues is then sorted in descending order according to the number of filters they have in common with the source person.
For example: the source person, George, is “Sales” and is located in “France.” His colleagues are:
